On Tuesday evening I popped out to a local village car meet hosted on the cricket field.
To say it was well attended would be an understatement, it's become so popular the Police now attend in force, to control traffic and stop burnouts on the lane...

A small selection of the cars on show..there were lots of bikes as well.

there were loads more interesting cars, so many that they were parked in the field opposite as well, all in about 250 cars on show.

This is without showing the proper vintage cars and all the motorbikes there.[/FONT]

Really nice selection of cars there, where was this?

the red s107 you could eat your dinner off the engine it was so clean. local to us (2 miles) in the village of Poulshot they have a similar meet with varied selection including old land rovers, alvis, porsche and the occasional tractor (tis Wiltshire after all)

Magic Carpet ride.

They're available for £20 - £30K and on the whole are corrosion-free cars.

I wonder how an ANPR camera would handle the front number plate situated behind the grille window?

Love the Citroen SM and the Jaguar.

A nice collection indeed, thank you!

Sadly it lacks the finesse and charm of a Barryboys meet at the local DIY shed car park.

Great post - many thanks

First pic spoiled by that green 107 getting in the way! Redeemed later though I see.

Also, your Lanchester is actually a Daimler DB18 convertible. ;)

Looks like a great meet - is it a monthly thing? I'll have to pop down myself if so.

The SM is euro-cool, I like the Marauder too for American muscle experience.....thought it was Galaxie at first look.
