VIN CHECK

Hi all,

I recently posted a thread regarding a C63 I'm in the process of buying (providing the dealer can find all of the service history). I have the Reg and Vin but am unable to get a datacard to show history/options installed etc. The VIN is not recognised on the majority of sites.

I'm not sure if I can post the Vin on here? The vehicle is a 2014 C63 - Reg LF64 YLS.

Happy to share the VIN if required - can anyone help me find the datacard for this, or point me in the right direction?

Just to add, all but one site suggests the VIN is incorrect. The only site that returns anything with my VIN No is the following: VIN Check - Lookup VIN number and get vehicle DataCard | MBEpc.net but no datacard is available.

That's one of the sites that doesn't recognise the VIN - maybe the dealer has sent it incorrectly. I received it over whatsapp so wouldn't surprise me if a typo was there.

All sounds a bit dodgy, can you get to the car and photograph it through the nearside bottom of the windscreen ?

Explain the issue to the dealer,
ask him to photo the inside page of the V5 that shows the VIN.

The dealer is going to take a photo now - should have thought of requesting that first!

Received an updated photo and there was a typo! All sorted now thanks all.
