Hi Guys,
Interesting one this.
I am not a techno-phobe so have tried a lot of the obvious stuff any way here goes.
Viseeo MB-2 fitted into a 2009 CLK
Phones - Sony Xperia X10 (upgraded to Android 2.1) and IPhone 4
Issue
Since I upgraded the viseeo software to allow Iphone compatibility the following problem is evident.
Iphone pairs with viseeo and loads address book perfectly. Wife is able to search address book on Command system using car key pad (wants to search for Sarah so types S on car keypad, address book advances to S section on address book.:bannana:
X10 - Pairs with viseeo and loads address book onto Command system HOWEVER every address book entry displays in inverted commas ie
"Paternostus/M" (The M being mobile)
Now the snag - it is impossible to search for an entry on the Command System as there is no facility (or is there?) for typing an inverted comma to start the search so to find an entry in the address book one has to scroll up or down through the whole book.
A small problem I appreciate but one that is really annoying when driving
Questions
1. Can I somehow type an inverted comma to begin my search
2. how can I get the address book to load with out the inverted commas
3. does anyone have any other things to try.
Already done.
1. Full Viseeo reset and repair - no change to problem
2. Investigation into how entries saved on phone - no change to problem.
All suggestions gratefully received.
