Viseeo mbu-1000 power prob

Hi all

I have just bought an mbu-1000 (brand new) to fit into my Merc Actros truck. I have already got the cradle/phone etc for the Nokia 6310i which works perfectly.

I put the mbu in this morning (after setting the software switches correctly etc) and nothing happens, no power lights nothing.

I pluged it in to a Nokia charger and it powers up fine, I also paired it to my phone, in case this may have been the problem.

I then put it back into the cradle in the truck-nothing no power/lights, its completely dead. The dash displays connect phone, if I put the 6310 in it display orange and works as it should.

Have any of you come across this problem before? Or is the cradle not compatabile with a truck.

Does it says it operates on both 12v and 24v?

No it doesn`t say anything about 12/24v on either box/instructions or unit.

i think thats purely for cars you should seek advice from your local parts departemnt if that fails pm me il get you part number for yaz all il need is reg or chassi number

If Im not mistaken there is different unit for Actros. Can you give me details for cradle (possible part number) and your reg or vin and I can check it for you.

Know that - I work for Commercials that why I said if he could get me details as it depend on his instalation.

i cant rember what datacard codes are for trucks lol can rember the vanslol vans are EH3 or JV4 lol

If I remember right (without lookinf in to file) trucks are one number higher. Again... I would like to work with some more details.
