Please excuse my ignorance - age gives me a total lack of confidence with IT/mobile communication systems.

I have a 2007 CLS. It has COMMAND & hands free phone cradle fitted for my very old Nokia - works very well.

I would like to upgrade my phone to a Blackberry - which is bluetooth technology! See I know a little!!!!

I've spoken with my local MB dealership re phone cradle and they can provide a phone specific at about £300.

I see from an internet surf a VISEOO MB - which the blurb suggest would connect into where my existing cradle sits (centre consul glove box) & is not phone specific - therefore if i change my phone i won't have to spend another £250/300.

My 'old man' cynicsm questions buying a non mercedes supplied product - has any bought a VISEOO & has it worked well?

Thanks - has anybody questioned MB head office why they appear to lag behind other manufacturers re mobile bluetooth flexibility?

I have a ViseeO device in my C55 and it works brilliantly. I use it with my Blackberry and a couple of other phones and I have had no problems. I think it's a great peice of kit...

hi i have the phone pre-wiring in my c280 and i fitted an original mb blue tooth device into where the cradle goes this connects to the phone automatically when you get in and also brings up your directory on the comand screen. its all done via blue tooth but dont let the words blue tooth fool you it depends on whether your phone has remote sim access. its a nightmare trying to get an up to date list of phones that have this but most of the top nokia's have. i bought mine from ebay i cant remember how much but i think it was around 250 pounds they do need to catch up even ford has a half decent system.
