Hi.
Is there any website where I can buy train ticket online?

Thanks in advance.

thang

and check the price of 2 singles on fixed trains rather than return... I got London to Edinburgh - 1st class for £39 each way. Enough to make even a Jock smile...

Train line is never the cheapest, go to the operators site such as Virgin, SouthEastern etc. it's always cheaper....

oodles of websites but in my experience they all come out the same in any case.

I now buy using East Coast as at least I get 'points' and 'points' means prizes (or free first class train journeys) anyway.

Ah - but they link to one of the Train Operator Company's websites when you click on the link to buy tickets. National Rail themselves don't sell tickets.

I missed a couple of TOCs who don't run trains to London.

Fair enough, but they claim to have a "cheapest fare finder", and at least you don't need to know which operator runs the service you're looking for.
