Hi new member new to mercedes so will probably be asking lots of questions, will try to keep to the piont from now on Vito o/s/f sill has a water "leak" dripping from it I smelled and tasted it's just water is there a drain blocked somewhere that manifests it's self with these symptoms Andy.

there are "slit" drains along the sill bottom and a drain towards the back...

the slits are normally closed by wax but the water drips from the rear drain when driving normally.

there shouldn't be water in the sills unless... high rainfall... parked nose downhill... leaky door seals.

you can't avoid the rain, you can park uphill, check the seals...... waxoil the sills by taking up the sliding door step covers

you'll never fully stop it
