Hello ,
Just on my third Vito , had the original 108d in 98 ,111 in 2004 and now have a 2016 114 2.2
Having limp mode at the moment , errors first showed Nox sensor and wastegate fault.
After clearing them , just getting a recurring wastegate error. When I suck on the wastegate pipe it's pulling the arm of the turbo.
The solenoid is not activating as I have a guage on it and no pressure change.
I followed the pipes to a manifold of some sort located above egr area , there is oil inside the pipes at this location , not much but definitely wettish.
I had my local Merc dealer run the diagnostics and they say there is a leak, more than likely the intake manifold . But they are not sure and will do a pressure test.
I have electronic manometer and I'm getting a slight drop , but not much at all and definetly not enough to cause the wastegate to fail.
If I'm getting a wastegate fault , surely there can't be another sensor that is causing the wastegate solenoid not to activate.
