Has anyone came across this with there vito, only happens every now and then I start engine and run and drives fine only none of electrics work on cluster and heating and indicators also headlights etc, radio and interior lights still work. If I turn engine off everything comes back on. I restart engine and works perfect again. It's so confusing, as I say only happens every now and then, just wanted to ask incase it's gonna end up worse, here is a video uploaded to YouTube.

This sounds like it has something to do with the front SAM module. I say this as i'm fairly sure this module controls the sorts of things you've described are disabled. With tat said i can't be of much more use given i've a suspected SAM related issue myself and i'm not great with electronics. The module will have a main fuse somewhere in engine compartment, given it's intermittent it sounds like a bad connection somewhere. If you can locate the SAM, next time the fault occurs see if you can detect any power coming in / out of the module. If you can't then i'd get an auto electrician to investigate deeper. Hope that helps

Battery on the way out? Had similar problem with CLK, fixed with new battery
Thats interesting to know as i'm getting a '12v see owners manual', message AND i've an electrical issue (DRL and indicator on one side) intermittent fault. Perhaps these are related, i'lll investigate more - thanks
