hi all

can anyone advise on the codes please

2007 120cdi

had new turbo fitted (engine out) now taken back to garage they can not see the fault only the codes they suggest electrical?

code P0243 turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid A category fuel and air metering

code P2009 intake runner control circuit low location bank 1

code P0489 exhaust gas recirculation control circuit low

any advice please

or any mechanic electrician Buckinghamshire

What engine?

Pending or stored codes? If they can be erased, when they pop up back, ingnition on, engine running, full blast, or intermittent?

Blown fuse somewhere? All those could be under same feed. If not, check unplug swirl flap motor and see if others come alive. Check function of flaps.

Turbo full new or refurb, turbo actuator right one.

Overall, see all air intake parts are connected tight, no splits in turbo hoses.

Vito 120 is the OM642 V6.

If you want it sorted ASAP I would take it to a dealer TBH. It really needs to go on MB STAR diagnostics ... commercial dealerships aren't outrageously expensive and generally know what they're doing.

I had a *lot* of issues with my 120 (including failed turbo) and the good local garage that maintained my wife's Audi A4 with no problems gave up on the Vito in the end. At least in limp mode it still has enough power left to drive reasonably OK.

Pending codes if u clear them straight back on.
Engine is standard 3.0
Refurbed garret turbo with actuator

Garage said it may be on same feed need an electrician to take a look
