Can anyone help?

I recently had the engine management light appear on my dashboard and the van went into limp mode. The garage carried out a diagnostic check with the star software and told me a 10 amp fuse had blown. They replaced the fuse and reset the system, however after 24 hours the problem re-appeared. The garage informed me that fault could be due to one of the following three:
1. The turbo / actuator
2. The EGR valve
3. The inlet port /actuator
I have been advised the cost could be anything up to £1800. I have also been told that if the turbo actuator is the cause of the problem, a new turbo unit is required as actuator cannot be purchased separately. Have any of the members experienced this problem and how was it resolved? Also is the quoted price reasonable?

Thanks in advance
