HI All
I have a 2006 Vito Dualiner 111, 2.2cdi.

Up to a week ago the aircon was working fine then just stopped working.

I believe the clutch is working as is the compressor but I have noticed neither of the two additional fans under the grill are spinning when the aircon is selected which I believe they should be.

I have read the codes on my icarsoft MB2 and it shows the following:

B1001 - signal from the in car temp sensor is faulty.
B1004 - coolant circuit pump is not working.
B1005 & 6 - component K9 (additional duo fan relay) not working, open circuit or short circuit

I have fitted a new oem relay but still neither fan runs. If I put 12v to each fan connector on the loom the one on the drivers side runs but the passenger side one doesnt, so this indicated that that fan is broken.

The relay is connected to a separate loom which plugs into the main loom and the two other connectors that connect to each additional fan.

I have 14v at the main loom connection but 0v at each of the fan connectors, so taking aside one fan.may not be working, if the new relay was switching there should be power at each fan connector.

1. Where does the relay get its power signal to turn power onto the outwards fan connectors and fans?
2. Where should I look next.
3. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or description of the aircon controls.

Thanks
Chris

Hello, my 2002 cdi110 vito aircon works fine for 10 mins, then after some clicking of relays sound coming from the dashboard, no more cold air. When I stopped the engine and restart it, the aircon would work fine for 10mins and the problem will be back till the Kodi nox next restart.

Have you tried the pressure switch?? Common to fail & they stop the system from working.. I've had 2 fail on me now
