Vito 4x4

Hi all
Went to my local MB To buy Vito 4x4 and was told, I can only have a left hand drive? Just wondering if MB are likely to make Vito 4x4 in RHD.

They only ever sold the 4x4 version of the previous W639 Vito in LHD. I would guess there's a technical reason for it - position of the steering box etc.

I think the only panel van available with 4WD and RHD is the VW Transporter.

Yup the Sprinter is a much bigger van though. Big plus with the Vito is that it will fit under all height barriers ... multi storey car parks etc. are no problem.

Very true, I miss having a vito about, it was very handy.
Now I use an e class estate or LWB sprinter but the vito was a very handy size for most of the jobs.

What a shame 4x4 Vito would have been ideal for me, the cost of
[FONT=&quot]Reengineering probably out way how many will sell in UK. Mind you there are the Australia and Japanese markets and a few others RHD countries[/FONT]
