vito 639 belt/tensioner

morning all.my question is,does anyone know how to change the belt tensioner on a 639 vito?i have a whirring noise coming from mine and it is really annoying.i would also appreciate a diagram of the belt layout,any replies welcome

It's very straight forward. I take it is a 2.2 diesel?

Remove the air box. Take out the fan cowling. Make a note of the belt orientation and tensioner location. Un tension the belt. Use 17mm spanner on the tensioner.

Test all the pulleys for play. Test the alternator clutch pulley to see if it's not seized. Replace as necessary.
