The roof loads of the Vito are stated as 150kg max,
since a 150kg load on a roof rack would exert some shock loading during driving I'm assuming MB have factored in a fair amount of tolerance.

I'm aiming to hang a false floor from the 6 achor points in the ceiling, on the inside. This wouldn't have any load during driving, it's for sleeping on.
The load eyelets that are designed to fit into the floor seat rails also fit nicely into the net securing points in the ceiling, 3 either side so 6 total.

My thinking is that our sleeping load would effectively be the same effect as a roof rack load. With a tolerance in this design for Larisa having enjoyed too much chocolate, I think it would be workable.
I haven't found any spec relating to the ceiling loading specifically.

Any thoughts appreciated.
