I drive a 2006 Vito 115 van.
It is fitted with ASR. Now this ASR is very intrusive and when I turn it off it automatically turns it self on.
Is there any way I can do a button combination or by pulling a fuse to turn this ASR off permanently
Thanks in advance
James

I'm assuming it's the same as the Viano and I'm not sure if it can be deactivated permanantly. Pressing the button on the dashboard deactivates it but it resets to the on position automatically at 60 Kph, about 38 Mph.
According to the book this is to prevent possible damage to the braking system if ESP activates while ASR is deactivated.
The only time I've seen my ASR activate was in snow.

You could of course always try being a little lighter with your right foot. :)
