Hello, I have had a Vito CDi 109 for a few years and I've encountered an issue which I wonder if anyone can help with.
Basically, the instrument panel started to display false warnings like the SRS light and other warnings, this was after hearing a sploshing sound when the interior fans were in operation. Then the key fob stopped working and the indicators stopped working and after a local garage investigated they believe that there was a water build up in the scuttle area and this water got through to the SAM unit below. I have been told by the garage that the SAM unit is likely to be damaged and would cost up to £1,000 to repair/replace. Does anyone have any advice they could give... all feedback would be much appreciated.
