I'm trying to change the interior light away from the single van light to the Viano Interior pod light with map reading facilities.

Something like this:

Does anyone know if It has a wiring loom of its own, where it connects into AND does it also have a loom for the vanity mirrors? The wife needs sto see herself in the mirror and like it to light up...

Can anyone help?

Yes done all that and yes it has its own loom all avalable from MB parts.
You have to un plug the existing light in the sam and replace, that light in the picture has the alarm and that also is doable with the harness.

But you will need the alarm siren which is a control module as well( about £130) also the rear motion sensor!! Then coding at Mercedes to get it all working.

You need to find it on epc parts.
The vanity mirror lights again another harness all available.
Go to the dealers and take with you a vin number of a Viano and go through it.
It takes some time.
