I'm finding myself in need of a van and rightly or wrongly I've narrowed it down to the above choices.
budget is around £10k, and I'm noticing a huge price differential between the Vito and the Viano, which I'm assuming is basically the smaller luxuries. Firstly, is it particularly worth it? The Vianos at this price point are pretty old with high mileage.
If I buy a vito I think I have to stick a rear window in (because I'll be taking a ferry a few times, they charge car rate if there's a rear window and higher van rate if there isn't one) so need to factor that in, any ideas of prices fitted?
I'm also thinking of exporting it to Jersey, so the idea of a Vat qualifier is appealing, though not sure how tricky that will be.
The end plan is to sell the van after about 5-6 months, and I assume a VW would shift quicker?
Any thoughts or ideas welcomed!
-There was something mentioned about rust on these, how bad is that issue?
