Vito W639 Front Pasenger Window

I there, I could also do with some advice on the front passenger window. Around 2 years ago I replaced the window opening mechanism as this had gone with a very loud bang and the window dropped in the door.
Now when I try and open the window I hear a clicking noise coming from the door but the window does not open.

Is the mechanism or the motor faulty?

Depends on the sound. Could be either be a relay failing or the mechanism not engaging. When ours went we got a loud whirring for a bit and then silence. The window had dropped into the door and would not move. The regulator was replaced at great cost.
