VMC Vehicle Mileage Check Limited

FYI
Had a letter in the post from this company. I've phoned and checked them out as i'd never heard of them before or had any contact from selling previous cars, especially with low mileage. They are legit.
I think this a great idea that Dealers are asking for information before selling the car on.
What's your thoughts?

Yes, as you've said they're definitely legit. I have had a few letters from them after selling cars. In one case my car had been clocked after I sold it!

With my current car the MB dealer had run this check on it when they took the order for the original owners new cars, before giving a trade in price.

had 3, but never after selling the mercedes. I only seem to recieve one when a part ex one ouside of the dealership group that I bought it from.

That would make sense as the servicing dealer can validate the mileage anyway.

My car was traded with a different dealer to the servicing one.

They're kosher....had one from MB MK when I bought an ex demo SLK fom them.

Yes i sold the car to a dealer, the dealer then sold it on. A Toyota dealer is asking for details as it's been used in a part ex. It was all fully serviced anyway, books stamped etc, just low mileage
