2013 E-Class 220SE Estate
My wife has now joined the MB family with a purchase of a C220 Coupe (57 plate).
Can anyone tell me what the model number is ? (The dealer doesn't seem to know what I'm talking about). i.e. I know my E class estate is an S211
Thanks

Unless its very old stock, it should be a 204

Is it even being listed as a 204? It's nothing more than a facelift surely?

Yes, that's my point. :) The current coupe is still very much a 203-based model. I think there is a coupe model based on the 204 to be launched this year.

Yes we've seen pics of the CLC but it's still 203-based as far as I can see!

it is a W203. the c designation is not used for the sports coupe until 2008 when the CLC is on sale.
and why do w124/126 coupes call theirs c124/126 their was no c- designation for these models then.
in fact the only c's are c215/216.
even the clk are still called W208/209

Interesting how the table does not list it as a CL203. I agree the nomeclature does not seem overly consistent. Maybe DC person would like to back me up with this 1.

The C-Class Sport Coupe was definitely CL203. I don't know whether the CLC will continue with CL203 or if it will have a new number.

"L" is German for "coupe" ;)!
