Taken off the strut assembly today. Trying to find part number A2123212704 if anyone could find one, that would be brilliant. Better still a cheaper part is possible or even available. Thanks.
£350.00 per spring so far I've found.

Wow the ffffffing messing about to buy a part from MB main dealers is a nightmare. Spoke to the nice guy at the parts department. Then for payment sends on a link that doesn't work. 3 times. Jesus Christ Almighty it takes longer to order and pay for the stuff than it does to do the poxy work. £393.00 for a coil spring. Happy motoring😬

Bilstein 37-279998 is the aftermarket part for OE A2123212704
I looked at that, it had to many coils it just didn't look right. The part numbers corresponded but I did t want to chance it. Plus can only order it pairs at autodoc. Coils, brakes parts can only be purchased in pairs from autodoc. That Bilstein spring did look different got to say.

This just arrived so got to strip the e250 passenger side again now and build this one up.

New springs on both front, NSF has new shock absorber, OSF was ok.

"Shouting from the roof tops", TORQUED up and ready to go 👍

Test driven, felt spot on.

What have you increased the ride height by?

I haven't tape measured it just yet, but visually looking I couldn't get 3 fingers in before, so definitely 30/40 mm. I will tape it one the days to actually see. But all showered up now and fed up of looking at cars for a few hours.

I know one thing, removing that AMG strut assembly was a lot heavier than the e250. Especially the strut assembly and the brake assembly. Glad I tackled the e250's first.

Would it be ok to use the spring I've taken off the e250 and use it on the e63, just to get it through its mot. The garage is 2 mis drive away. As the 63 spring might not arrive until Friday next week. I would then need to pay an mot fee as will be out the days passed for the mot allowance window of retest. It's a lot of work I know. The spring looks very similar to the e63 spring in length. The Truth would tell putting it on the car I presume, with ride height.
