W108 280s 1971 coolant choice, and engine temp

Hi All

Which coolant would you recommend for a w108 280s 1971 ?

and

what should the engine temp gauge read once the engine is fully warmed up ?

80 on a warm day, maybe 90 if you are stuck in traffic. Coolant is any, doesn’t really matter as long as it’s coolant

Cast iron block aluminium cylinder head. Get the correct anti freeze to stop internal corrosion, Halfords and other spares shops will have it. Read info on tin.
