It was built to log data from cars while they were driving along, hence all the cables coming out above the windscreen.

I think that was reasonable depending upon whether all of the issues have been resolved. Even if they have applied for vehicle exempt status I would still want it to be inspected by an MoT station, and not knowing made me reluctant to bid. That and the strange registration number. Oh and the minor point of Mrs D telling me in no uncertain terms that I wasn’t allowed to.

It's actually a W109 and 35k is a pretty low price for a nice 6.3, let alone a one off estate.
