W108 Owners - How OEM are these?

As some of you may know, my brother and I are currently restoring a 1968 W108 280S, The car is currently in pieces at the body shop and I cannot go and view it within the next few days.

I have spotted THESE - Anyone know how OEM they look? We have lost some of the orignals due to bodywork & we arent making the car into Contours condition. Im not able to check them agaist the orignals for a while.

For a tenner all in, are these worth it would you say?

i saw these myself as i wanted to put some new stickers on my 107 once i'd finished.

however i've noticed that many stickers are still available from MB. have you checked the EPC to see if they are still available for yours?

i think these are similar to originals but may not be perfect. but if the quality is good (and not just a poor home-pc printout as some things tend to be on ebay) then they will still look good.

i'd say go for it but only use a few - too many will ruin the effect

Have you got this on the road yet? I caught a brief glimpse of an old white merc (apologies, not clued up enough on the older cars to be sure of the model ) drving down Booklands Ave this afternoon?

I haven't seen the stickers myself , but have read on the MBOC forum from others who have bought them and been pleased with the result .

Think I may have some 108 bits in my shed - one rear light + incomplete pair of stacked headlights which came in boxes of bits supplied with my Fintail - parts are no use to me so you'd be welcome to them for the postage if any use ?
