W115 K&N Fitment

Afternoon all,

I just purchased a K&N Bolt on Kit for my W115. It arrived this morning but i'll be buggered if I can figure out how to fit it.

On the carb, the input pipe from the air filter is oval shaped. The base of the K&N has a round shaped hole with two or three very small holes around the bigger one. It didn't come with any fitting kit or hoses.

Am I missing something obvious here?

Probably not a bolt on, K&N don't really do as well as original air filters, plus if the foam breaks up, it can be sucked into the carbs which is also not good. Unless you really like the set up, send it back and get yourself the right filter at a fraction of the cost.
