W116 and 123 brakes compatible?

Hi All,
Could the same discs and pads that stop a 240d do the same on a 450sel? Though it's not, mines a 300SD, so not heaps of power.

Look them up on a brake site like EBC and see if specs of diameter/thickness are the same, part numbers.

Or eurocarparts?

I think I have a set of unused rear pads for a W123 200. If anyone was struggling to obtain a set - I could look and see if I can find them.

Rears pads... need check if they're the one or the two location pin types. ATE vs Bendix.
Those website check functions won't tell you that.

Good luck If they are anything like the rear brakes on my S203 C55 . According to Mercedes Benz UK they do not even exist and must have been 'modified' despite me sending them photographic proof of the opposite.

I just gave up with them and got my parts elsewhere.
