W116 milan brown 280se

Hi does anyone know this car? looks lovely,Ref n/s Bulk head do you think thats been repaired? hard to tell from image. Also the interior is a different colour.

Looks like a W126 interior rather than a W116. Looks totally out of place.

Judging by that engine bay I doubt anything has been done for a very long time, I would doubt the bulkhead has been touched recently.

Yes i thought they looked like w126 seats, But then saw the cargo nets on the back which are w116.

Yes i relise that but they are shaped different where they attach, You are correct just checked lol

Nothing frightening in the MOTs from 2006.

Looks like it was off the road from 2010 - 2013 but no failures between 2006 and now, which is a good sign.

Not bad for the old girl as I would have expected some sort of structural MOT failure along the way if things were bad underneath.

Chromework also look to be quite tidy from the pictures (Can be really expensive on these to replace or rechrome)

The advert does not give much detail but to be honest, some of the best buys out there can come from poor adverts

I love this model and if I had a garage large enough to store a car of this size, I would own one.

That is a beautiful car. I love these. Yep, W126 seats, well spotted. I don't mind the look actually, apart from the wrong colour.

It is a strange hybrid but I still like it. The Milan brown is very 70s Mercedes and still looks nice to me. I think the w116 had a cosiness that was lacking thereafter in the w126, w140 etc.
