Evening all, I have an issue with my Tacho, it's not working at all. I have checked the contacts on the tach amp (the thing in the engine bay), they are all clean. I have then checked the instrument cluster connection (the 2 pin connector that plugs into the back of the tacho/clock part of the cluster) and this is carrying power. The readout on my volt meter increases or decreases as I rev the engine so I guess that power is going to the instrument panel connector yet the rev counter does not move. What could be the issue? Could it be a component on the board that controls the rev needle?
