the LPG mixer it was fitted under here...with silicone (by the previous owner i must add) should there be a rubber seal in the indent on the bottom collar to prevent air leaks? should the top collar just push over the bottom collar? It doesn't seem like it want too. Any help would be greatly appreciated, been struggling with this all afternoon.

Thanks

Is this the one we had in at Mercland some time back? I remember it not looking good.

Anyway you are missing "Boot A1101410582" and of course the clamp N916026080000

Hello,

I much appreciate your help, however I wasn't at mercland and in my opinion it's looking quite good, haha. :D I suppose the pictures don't do it justice.

Here a diagram they sent me from the dealers

Thought I may as well post it, the part i need is highlighted in Yellow, i've also bought the clips Your part numbers were correct.....how do you know these things?! I struggle to remember my own phone number!

so, "Boot A1101410582" and the clamps N916026080000 were a total cost from 'Mercedes Bradford' of...................£25.50 - Bargain

I'm assuming that the fact this has been siliconed in the past (When LPG kit was on) could be to do with the high idle?

Thanks again..

The high idle is most likely caused by the air valve item 665 but yes could be any air leak causing that... my car did the same but it was fine in Drive so never did anything about it.
