W123 No ignition problem

Hi guys

Major problem which is bugging the hell out of me!

Using my car (W123 230CE) fine throughout the day, went to start it in the evening and it wouldn't start.
After a lot of head scratching i have narrowed it down to being no spark at the plugs or and the distributor.
After speaking to a mechanic he suggested it might be the Ignition control unit.
Can anybody shed some light on this?
Also if it is the control unit where can i get one from urgently?

Would check coil, ballast resistor etc too... But yes they control units do fail.
