W123 wheel trims on a W202.

Recently bought a W202 C250TD. I'd like to fit a set of retro W123 trims, will they fit?

I know it's an acquired taste, but dislike alloys, and the plastic trims fitted.

Hope a forum member knows the answer.

No, 14" wheels wouldn't fit over the brakes.

They are the same as the 116 which I prefer to the alloys. They fix by very strong clips which sit in a shallow groove in the rim so don't know whether they would work on a modern rim. Several on ebay quite cheap and did see some being sold singly so it would be possible to buy one and see if it would fit. If they do fit and you want new ones MB have started making them again although they have not yet disclosed the price!

will have a set of black powder coated 18" Amgs for sale too with a full set of 225/40/18 tyres fitted that have done about 3000miles since new..if you fancy a wheel change
