Hello. I'm looking to put a set of 16 inch 8-hole alloys on my W124 (upgrade for the 15's) and wanted to know what the correct tyre size would be?

Start off with 195/65R15 AND GO FROM THERE.

I think you mean 'downgrade' .

Anythink you do to the 124 outside of standard spec is always a 'downgrade'
I have come to the conclusion after 10 years ownership.

Guys thanks! I haven't yet bought the alloys but will check the correct tyre seize I have made the purchase.
