Hi all!

Just fitted a set of 4 AMG 17" rims with tyres on my car
w124 230E prefacelift.

I used to have factory stock rims before, steel wheels 15" and never had any sort of steering wheel vibraion at top speed..

These have now been fitted on and i now have very slight steering wheel wobble when i go over 50MPH...

Any help?

cheers.. will get 4 wheels balanced and check to see if it stops..

Why didn`t you come yesterday?

The wider wheels are emphasising any previous minor faults in your steering. This could well be balancing as has been said. It might also help to renew the steering damper--its about £30 and an easy diy.

Couldnt come.. mother passed away sunday morning.. everything is piling up on me im so depressed:(
didnt know how hard it was to loose a mum, go to work, look after house, look after ill nan and study at the same time!
thanks for all help guys!

Really sorry to hear about that mate.

thanks mate, its hard.. thanks for your support:))
ive done the balance where i got the rims from.. they just forgot to do it as they tried 3 different tyres on my front wheels to get it all right, some were too wide etc..
anyway its stopped now so thanks all!
