W124 300 into 250

hi, just wondering is it possible to squeeze a 300D engine into a 250D? the cars are physically the same but would the mountings be different or anything?

Nope, should slot right in.

You'll need the glowplug relay & loom, possibly the tacho, and a set of new engine mounts always helps

you'll need correct differential ratio. this may vary depending on engine/gearbox.
