Car
S124 24V 300D
Due to changes in circumstances (off work due to a badly shattered collarbone) I'm having to sell one of the vehicles on the drive!
I initially bought the car at a time when my other vehicle had supposedly sold yet that fell through, and then due to my accident, I ended up with them both, although the W124 was perfect for near one armed driving!!

Right, the car...
I bought this back in May, the previous owner relisting it due to a problem with his buyer which led to another owner clocking up on the logbook!
So if you excuse my brief ownership it's really only had two family owners from new.
Although I've been signed off work I can't sit around watching much daytime rubbish on the box, so have been busy with the car as best I can, firstly replacing the dead central locking pump so it all works on the remote as it should, I also stripped out the interior carpets and seats and have had them vax shampoo'd up so the interior is like new (excusing the small bolster wear mark on the drivers side as is common).
I also replaced the rear wash wipe hose that had kinked over and leaked, all working beautifully again!
As soon as I could I had the car booked in at my local independant Merc specialist for a good old once over and a prod and a service.
ATF fluid and filter were changed, as was oil and filter and 4 of the 6 glow plugs were replaced with Bosch Duraterms.(The remaining stubborn 2 were treated with some easing off spray, until the next visit).
The only thing that was noted was weeping steering damper (since replaced with a genuine MB item) and both front balljoints in need of replacing.
These were quoted at £178 all in and need doing in the near future.

Everything electrical on the car works, sliding sunroof, all windows, even the original electric aerial seems happy again now I've given it a little lubrication!
Being picky, interior wise there is a small crack on the sliding console wood trim lockable cover and the drivers side dash speaker grille seems raised by a mm or so but that's all I can find.
It has the seven seat option under the boot floor.
It has a tow bar and electrics.
The exhaust is stainless steel.
All tyres are good.
I have a large file of paperwork including original bill of sale from Savernake Mercedes, and service books (stamped- dealer upto 53,000 then indie up 117,000) and spare remote keys.
The paintwork and body isn't bad for it's age, only let down really by the front wing usual crusty areas (drivers side in particular is ugly), and there is a small but noticeable pressure dent on the rear passenger door.
The front bumper has had a repair to one corner by a comedian. (The strip it sits on is easily replaceable I'm told).
MOT until Oct 13th 2013
Tax until end of this month.(Aug)
Mileage is 179,350.
On a recent trip from Yorkshire to Essex and back the car returned a healthy 38mpg.
We are in Sheffield.
Quick sale required £1150.

The only pic I seem to have at the moment isn't great but shows the bumper and wing rot.
I will supply the original chrome lipped wheel trims for the car but was planning on some nice 8 hole alloys so have left them off.

 I forgot to add the car is a late (1995/6) model, and is 4 speed auto. No cruise, no air con.grey MB cloth trim.

Interior pics. Exterior to follow once I've had time to wash the poor thing!

Couple of better pics...
