I kind of get the stanced look, I just don't get the orange steel rims

I also imagine it makes a slow car than rides well into a slow car that rides awfully.

Edit: kind of like the steering wheel though

By getting the stanced look I was referring to the idea of stancing, which on certain vehicles works. Simple as that.

The W124 is not one of those vehicles however.

Daily driver? Eats motorways? He doesn't mention that with that much ground clearance, sleeping policemen and speed humps will eat the underside of the car.

I truly don't understand why people do that to cars, but they do.

These stanced cars just look to me like the suspension has collapsed and a tyre fitter fitted the wrong size tyres onto the wrong sized rims.
