Iam wanting to gas my merc i wanted to on my last one but never got it done iam determind to do it to this one , i want a toridinal tank ( prob the wrong spelling ) and in the rather large fuel filler flap is a blank for i presume gas filler . Problem is i want the old style system . I know its not as efficent but thats what i want ive had quotes between £600 and £1200 and as iam right up in North yorkshire id like to not have to travel far , i do remember a spot in Cardiff area that offered to fit a kit for about £650 and if i dropped it in first thing could do it within the day , they were approved and certificated ,, now i live in Ryedale part of north yorkshire again its to far does anyone know of anywhere up near me ? and is there any of you from up near me on here in the deserlate North ?

I've been speaking to this company regarding my ML, depending upon how long I intend to keep it....

I should have done it from day one but the kits have come down a lot. They can fit one to mine for £1200 (replaces spare wheel) 68L tank. Also they can but the filler out of sight rather than cut into bumper.

I have a complete kit for a 320 including the manifold with the injectors installed. Unfinished project. Your problem with using the old style system is the plastic manifold. If you get a blowback (certain at some time) it will destroy it.

Iam am interested yeah , when you say destroy do you think it will blow it to pieces or just melt , but i was hoping for a new kit and someone to fit it ,, the last thing i want is to get in teh car turn the key and do a james bond style exit via the sunroof
