Its time to sell my car as i have run out of time to tinker with it. I bought it almost a year ago but a change of job location forced me to stop driving it 4 months ago. In this time the mot has expired but it has 5 months tax remaining.
Since i've had the car i have done;
Engine wiring loom
all plugs, leads & coil packs
MAF Sensor
Regeration valve
new throttle cable
new wheels - genuine MB
Problems
Last time i drove it the brake pedal travel was longer than normal so i think it will need a master cylinder - but they do still work.
Drivers side rear window needs new motor.
There sounds like there is a vacuum leak on the inlet manifold somewhere that can some times cause an erratic idle-the MAF sensor was the cheapo off ebay so this might be the cause of the idle problem?
The front arches are rusty.
So i guess i would have to say that its a but of a project car!
Hence £1200 any offer considered.
