W124 500E - Respray

Hi Guys,

My 500E is in need of a respray as when it came from Japan, the paintwork was in a very poor state.

I'd like to get it resprayed (keep it the same color), however, am struggling to find a reputable re-sprayer who has done more older cars (W124, W140, etc).

Does anyone have any recommendations of anyone that does this kind of work in London (pref SE).

Can you describe poor condition? Nothing that can't be fixed through detailing and wet sanding? Is it all over or just panels (Main ones that you need to consider are roof and rear quarters).

If you are willing to travel then Panel2Paint in Horsham are very good. They do a lot of work on older vehicles from various makes. I was there not so long ago and they had an early mini, VW camper and a 129 all having a makeover.
