Looks fantastic, although it would've been nice to see some pics of the engine. I'm sure one of the knowledgeable chaps will be on here to provide some info!

Lol, my jaw just hit the keyboard! Wow wow wow... thats a beauty!

This just hit the "I want" factor of the scale!

Im going to keep my eye on this one and wait till the 4th day with GREAT interest!

I think I know that car. If it is the one I've seen (and there really are not many of these) it is absolutely genuine.

The one thing that stuck in my mind though was somewhere along the line it lost it's genuine wheels as it probably would have been fitted with Aero I's and one of the owners fitted replicas rather than Genuine AMG alloys.

The 3.4 AMG motor was a belter. That's a nice car and I wouldn't be surprised to see it make £7K plus but I think it will struggle to make £10K just due to mileage.

Probably not the best time to be selling it but it's a very appealing car in the right colours - just need the correct wheels putting back on or a set of 17x8 OZ split rims with colour coded centres.

Dash will have a sex wee when he sees that :D

thought the same about the wheels. lovely motor though with 'interesting' exhaust arrangement.
is the AMG logo on the boot correct for the period?

The exhaust is not original but the tips are AMG marked.

The boot logo is marginal. 1991 is on the cusp.

AMG signed a deal with Mercedes in 1990 which is when the rebranding started and there was a significant changover period where old and new logo product was sold side by side.

The first full "Factory" AMG Mercedes car was the 1993 C36AMG.

This 91 AMG was a tuner car - built bespoke to customer order before Mercedes had started building factory models.

Wheels or no wheels, if that car has a genuine 3.4 under the bonnet it should be worth a mint.

No he's not :D If I was to have another car,I'd keep my coupe
As the other have said, that Remus style exhaust would have to go and the alloys would have to be AeroI.Also I a lovely period AMG steering wheel

Nice car anyway and hope someone on the forum will buy it as they're so rare in RHD.I only seen another estate in Blue

mines is now 98% rust free! :D:D

I drove this car about 3 years ago and it was quite a nice piece of kit. The owner then was very particular about it

It's a shame no-one's replaced the fake wheels. The steering wheel is one of the nastiest things I've ever seen and would be off the car within 30 seconds if it was mine

You're buying a piece of history here. There's no way it's a better car than a late E320 but it is one of a kind

I've posted on one of these before on the MBCLUB.

Was offered a black with black and previously owned by Ayrton Senna.

Was £3995 IIRC.

Also IIRC they were all converted to RHD - I will stand corrected though.
