w124 and 190e

    i was looking for parts for my w124 estate but the parts numbers cross ref 190e is this another name for a w124 or are the parts the same

    GL63 AMG / S211 E55K AMG / 190E 2.3-16 / 190E 2.5-16 / Porsche 911
    W124 = 80s/early 90s 'E-class'
    W201 = the 190 as you know it (predeccesor to the W202 C-class)

    They are different cars altogether, though many parts do get used in more than one MB model.

    Eg engines - the M102 and M103 are both used in W124 and W201 models in various guises.
