w124 auto transmission failure

1993 E280 won't move forward but will reverse. Problem that has gradually built up, from car requiring more and more revs to get it to move off to a position now where it won’t move off or forward at all.

If you need another transmission, my 1995 E280 one is working fine. The car has a faulty engine, i'd prefer it if someone would just buy the whole thing!

But if not, check the transmission oil level. Usually its never changed and can improve the transmission. There is also a filter in there. I did mine for the E500 at MB Bedford for £102 so worth looking into.

all fluid levels are fine, and the atf looks fine too
