Dear All,

Is there anyone who might have the following. Please see attached pictures.

Car is w124 E220 cab, 1994.

1) Drivers side (right) plastic black covering panel that goes around the area where the wind screen visor is held onto the chassis. See picture as it is cracked.

2) In the same area, drivers side (right) the black covering panel where the handle to release the locking mechanics for the soft top. See picture as it is cracked.

i had something like that about 6 years ago, it never bothered me, and sold the car with the fault, you will not find anything like this in the uk, as there was only about 1400 cars brought in, and they would have been different colours, maybe ebay in germany, or the us

go for w129 visors they are the same and fit str8 in u might find u have to paint the visor

done it and got the badge

Thanks Dave,

You are quite right!! The smaller black panel for the visor is available and not too dear as it fits the R129 modelo too. Around £23 plus VAT.

Its the other panel which goes round the locking/unlocking mechanism for the soft top that is specific to my w124 and in that colour. I am trying some specialist people in germany.

Thanks Dinoy for that tip.:thumb:

The actuall visor is fine..its the plastic panel around that area that is the issue. But I might have to consider your advise if all fails.

The smaller panel is colour code 9045 and the bigger panel is colour code 9051.
