any idea how to get them on?
my 2 year old son is trying to open the door now when we are going along,can't be too hard,can it?

Normally it's a little lever on the door itself, near the catch that engages with the doorframe when it closes.

To lock - push the security lever upwards
To unlock - push the security lever downwards
