Morning folks,
As some of you may know, i bought a donor vehicle to carry out some nice interior mods to my coupe.
Before im going to stick it on ebay, Im offering the donor to anyone who may want it for spares or think of somthing better to do with it.
...I wouldnt advise unless you are feeling a bit brave to put another interior in it. Its fully naked inside trust me, just the dash and steering wheel left.
Basically you get the shell, with untouched running engine and gearbox @ 140k backed up with comprehensive history.
Note: The vehicle to begin with was very good to start with and being the picky nut i am the interior reflected this. (Please no 'why did you break a completely good car questions please) ...
Ok so,
For anyone who has space to store, It would be a great idea imo to strip the existing parts off it and store it for a rainy day. i.e. you could referurb various mechanical bits like the diff, gear box etc, shelve it and when your one (if ever goes caput) you have replacements at hand. Not to mention you will have a spare engine complete with good condition wiring loom.
A long term view in mind for those who are looking to run their 124's for a pretty long time.
Body panels are in v.good nick with no dents or scuffs. The front wings are also in very good nick, apart from very little under bubbling of the paint on the LH side wing.
8 hole alloys have been sold, so it will come with steels.
Cruise control is fully working, i was hoping to retro fit but it is going to prove difficult on a m111 engine. All components still intact bar the cruise stalk which i have taken.
...Or you could take what you need from it and sell off the bits. Even weigh it in to the scrapper and still probably get a couple of hundred for it?
If pics are required you can see some in my previous threads or i can send you more if interested.
Forgot to mention, there is road tax on it that runs out end of March this year.
Donor Vehicle £550 ono.
