Ive got a problem which apparently is a faulty wiring loom. Before I had the problems which were diagnosed as a faulty loom I had my factory immobiliser disabled...

Ar the two electric items related? I know only the guy that did the work will know, just wondered if anyone had an opinion...

Thanks in advance;)

No,don't see how they would be.What's the problem with the car?

Unless the wires from the immobiliser unit breached the loom somewhere to effect the immobilisation and removing them has done for the insulation.

According to the EPC,it would appear that the wiring harness for the infrared/immobiliser and alarm does interface to the main wiring harness at a number of points such as starter motor, fuel control unit etc

the engine wiring loom suffers from heat degradation.

the body wires do not suffer in the same way.
