W124 - dirt in the body cladding

Simeon at Classic Car Project Shop (they look after my SM) did an advertorial on Facebook on what is involved with waxoyling a car featuring a W124. I loved this photo showing all the dirt and carp that came out from the plastic body cladding simply by removing it.

As many know, the plastic cills can hide a bunch of problems - notably rotten jacking points.

I had the same shock yesterday when I took the sill cover off my 201,surprised I didn't have mushrooms growing!
