My drivers door lock actuator works intermittently, when I disconnect the power lead to it you can pull it up and push it down easily, yet when power connected it is very stiff to move up/down, so couple of questions :
1) could I repair this and if so how?
or
2) replace it, I've spotted one on eBay from a 300e-24 but it looks a little different, would it be suitable.
door is stripped down at moment, would like to try and fix before putting door card back on, does any one have any idea what is best solution, and if replacement is recommend does any one have one from early W124
